Even after more than 70 years of India’s Independence, many women in the country are still fighting for their freedom, liberty and independence. Despite all the social progress made by women all these years, many challenges still exist. There are abundant reasons that affect women’s participation in the country, such as their academic background, age of marriage, and urbanization.Pushp-Kiran Union for Real Enlightenment (popularly known as PURE India Trust) is a not-for-profit charitable organization started by corporate professionals in March 2013, with a mission to provide quality Education & Employment opportunities to under-served communities of rural & urban slums. We are running Informal Education Centers for strengthening educational foundations, Provide Scholarships for Higher Education, Conduct Career Guidance workshops in Govt Schools, Encourage women to become Entrepreneurs, Provide Skill development training & nurture talent to become future Hero in various fields e.g. Sports, Art, Music, Culture, Yoga, etc. Our flagship program, My village My Business has transformed many housewives into successful women entrepreneurs.
